        • Fairfield County Emergency Management Agency is looking for public feedback regarding severe weather events and personal preparation. Information gathered from this survey is anonymous and will be included in the Fairfield County Natural Hazard Mitigation Plan. This plan is required by FEMA and lists the natural weather events that affect Fairfield County as well as their impact. The plan goes further to outline strategies and projects jurisdictions within the county would like to take to reduce the impact and risk from these events. We understand we may not be able to stop the threat entirely, but reducing the impact is a win for everyone.

The survey is available in hard copy, web link, and QR code. The survey has also been published to social media so feel free to share! Survey Link: The survey concentrates on Fairfield County since the plan applies to the entire county.

We appreciate the feedback from anyone that lives in Fairfield County. Feedback will be accepted through October 31st. If you have any questions, please contact Tiffany Nash at 740-652-7966 or

Welcome to the Village of Bremen website! Well known for her tree-lined brick streets and Victorian architecture, Bremen is a quaint step back in time. Calm relaxation is a prevailing feel as you travel up and down our streets and enjoy the neighborliness of our residents. Our inviting parks provide opportunity for recreation, regardless of the sport or season of the year. With our municipal swimming pool in the summer, pumpkin walk in the fall, and year-round walking track, there is always something to keep our residents and guests active.

Bremen thrives with industry, being the home to Worthington Cylinders (formerly Westerman Companies), McAuley Manufacturing, and Stuart Burial Vaults. There are many smaller companies like Gene’s Signs, Foltz Ag, The Bremen Drive Inn, Seymour Fabrication, and Rushcreek Feed for which we are proud as well as restaurants, gas stations, car repair facilities, and Dollar General.

With the heartiest “WELCOME TO BREMEN” I invite you to explore the pages that make up our website. May it entice you to come and explore the Village in the basin of the Rushcreek Gorge!
